Viriditas Shawl by Annie Rowden // featuring AVFKW Horizon yarn
One of our favorite things at Verb is working with the designers in our yarn club, . Four times a year we develop an exclusive colorway, send it off to a selected designer, and wait to see what they create for us!
The first designer for Year 7 of Pro-Verbial was . She created Viriditas, a beautiful striped shawl using our yarn . Named after the farm where Horizon's journey began, Viriditas uses short row stripes and easy garter stitch, with a little lace on the edge to add character.
Horizon is our 100% organic Merino wool yarn grown 90 miles from our shop, milled into yarn in Vermont, and naturally dyed in our Oakland studio.
This pattern is now available to the public, and to celebrate we put together kits so you can knit your own Viriditas shawl! Each kit contains 3 skeins of Horizon (2 sk MC, 1 sk CC).
